Sasha Righini has been a sound engineer and a producer for over 20 years. He has an advanced diploma in Sound Engineering  with a major in post production and has been involved in numerous musical projects most notably The Plastics which have been nominated for 4 SAMA awards as well as having 3 songs to hit the 5FM international top 10, they played every major festival in South Africa as well as opened for Two Door Cinema Club and Modest Mouse. They have done 2 Europe tours and won a Converse competition to Australia to work with Grammy Award winning producer Hector Castillo and The Strokes producer Gordon Raphael. Started heavy grunge band BEAST with Inge Beckman. He produces his own eclectic indie under his moniker KO1. He has produced a number of albums for people such as Alice Phoebe Lou, Georgia Rose, Well Done Son, Harleylujah. His latest project is a collaboration with 5 time SAMA Nominee ChianoSky in Amor Amor.  He has done a lot of post production work including short films Lost In Transmission and Boat Girls. He has done lots of work for Finnish production company Make Films as well as work for other companies in SA. He has done final mix/ foley/ sound design for a number of short films such as Boat Girls and Lost in Transmission. He has also produced music and jingles for a number of commercials. He was integral in building and setting up recording studios in Cape Town such as Popsicle Studios, Strawberry Fields and Mint Studios. He now runs Studio B at Digital Forest Studio
