
Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Digital Forest Studio, we are committed to delivering a professional, transparent and enjoyable experience for every client. Please read the following policy carefully before booking any of our services or purchasing a DFS Artist Membership.

Bookings & Payment
​
Studio sessions require full payment in advance to secure your booking.
Artist, EP, Album and Premium Packages require a 50% non-refundable deposit before work commences, with the remaining balance due before final files are delivered.
Bookings are confirmed only once payment has been received.
Sessions & Scheduling
​
Studio sessions are booked in advance and run within the scheduled booking time.
Clients arriving late may have their available session time reduced.
Additional studio time may be booked, subject to availability, and will be billed at the applicable rate.
Producer Support, Dolby Atmos Mixing and Session Musician services must be arranged in advance.
Revisions
​
Mixing projects include unlimited revisions within the original agreed scope of work. This includes adjustments such as levels, EQ, dynamics, effects and balance.
Requests for new recordings, arrangement changes, additional production or changes outside the original project scope may incur additional charges.
Scope of Work
​
Package pricing covers only the services agreed upon at the time of booking.
Any additional work requested outside the agreed scope may be quoted and invoiced separately before work begins.
File Delivery
​
Final project files will be delivered once all outstanding balances have been paid in full.
Projects are delivered digitally in standard release-ready formats unless otherwise agreed.
Stems, alternate versions and additional exports are available on request and may incur additional charges.

Turnaround Times
​
Turnaround times vary depending on project scope, studio workload, revisions and scheduling.
Estimated delivery dates will be discussed at the start of each project but are estimates only.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
​
Recording session payments are non-refundable.
Clients wishing to reschedule should provide at least 48 hours' notice where possible.
Rescheduling requests will be accommodated subject to studio availability.
Failure to attend a scheduled booking without prior notice may result in the session fee being forfeited.
Project deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.

DFS Artist Membership
​
Membership fees are billed according to the selected billing cycle.
Membership benefits, including exclusive member pricing, remain available only while the membership is active.
Membership fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun.
Members may cancel their membership at any time. Benefits remain active until the end of the current paid billing period.
No refunds or credits are provided for unused membership time or unused member benefits.

Refunds & Dispute Resolution

Digital Forest Studio is committed to resolving any concerns fairly and professionally.
If a client is dissatisfied with a service, we encourage them to contact us as soon as possible so that we can understand the issue and work towards a reasonable solution.

Where appropriate, Digital Forest Studio may offer:

Reasonable revisions
A rescheduled session
Studio credit
A partial or full refund where Digital Forest Studio is unable to deliver the agreed service.
Refund requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Client Responsibilities
​
Clients are responsible for arriving prepared for their booked service.
Required files, session materials and project information should be supplied before work begins.
Digital Forest Studio cannot be held responsible for delays or incomplete projects resulting from missing materials, late arrivals or circumstances beyond the studio's control.
Creative Direction
Music production is a collaborative creative process. Artistic decisions are developed together throughout the project to achieve the strongest possible final result.
